Coir is 1 -2" of the outer husk of a coconut. Coconuts are the seeds of palm trees. Flowering on a monthly basis, with fruit taking one year to ripen, a typical palm tree has hanging fruit in every stage of maturity. A mature tree can produce 50–100 coconuts per year. Coir is truly a renewable resource, without damaging effects on the environment.

Coco liners are made with renewable, environmentally friendly coconut fibers. The coconut fibers are woven into round and flat durable liners that form rich, natural looking planting baskets. These ITML Coco Baskets are available with chain or wire hangers, the wire cage is coated with a weather treatment in either black or green.
